Parttime EnglishEssentials

EnglishEssentialsTM

Whether you want to improve your speaking, grammar, reading, comprehension or writing, EnglishEssentials is open to all English language levels from Beginners to Advanced (Levels 1 - 6). By choosing to take EnglishEssentials you may work on one or two of your essential language skills each week. Focusing on those skills where you feel you need the most help, you will be assessed on your competence with those particular skills and placed in a class according to your level.

EnglishEssentials is a four week course of 5 hours per week. The course is offered all year round with a new course starting every four weeks. The course is offered over four afternoon sessions per week (4 x 1hr15min per session). Two EnglishEssentials Option Sets are offered each course. You may choose one subject from each Option Set. Subjects offered in each Option Set are subject to change every four weeks.

Carefully planned class-based sessions with your teacher will help you reach your goals. Speak more fluently, read faster and more accurately, smooth your pronunciation or familiarise yourself with the rich heritage of English literature. The course uses communicative methodology, current topics and interesting themes to improve your immediate competency and confidence.
