Description

Specialised 12-week EAP course which teaches students the language and study skills necessary for success at University, TAFE or Business College.
EAP Preparation program (8 weeks) for pre-intermediate level students is also available. For course start dates, see SCE Programs.

Direct Entry

SCE has many articulation partners:
Students who complete either our EAP 2 or EAP3 programme can apply directly to any one of our articulation partner colleges to be accepted into certifi cate courses, diplomas, advanced diplomas, bachelor or master courses without having to take an IELTS entry test. This is provided students meet the academic requirements of these institutions and is subject to vacancies and the availability of programmes at these institutions.

HIGH SCHOOL PREPARATION PROGRAMME

The HSP Programme is an intensive course designed to help students from 12 to 18 years old to enter an Australian high school in as short a time as possible. Courses last from 1 to 48 weeks and feature:

25 hours of classroom tuition plus 5 hours of supervised homework and
extra study per week,
teachers with both specialist English language teaching qualifications and
quali-cations to teach in Australian secondary schools,
a systematic introduction to English for core high school subjects,
high school placement service,
a weekly progress/welfare meeting with the home room teacher,
monthly reports detailing progress and attendance,
specially selected family homestays,
assistance with appointing guardians.

Description

Specialised 1 to 48 weeks course which teaches students the language and study skills necessary for high school entry.
