We are proud of the high level of success our students achieve in
external exams. Students are regularly entered for the following tests:
IELTS
This test is widely used to assess a student's ability
to undertake a course of academic study in Australian universities,
high schools, TAFE and other institutions. Our IELTS Preparation course
is available as an afternoon class to full-time students at Intermediate
level or higher.

TOEFL
The TOEFL test is used for a similar purpose. The TOEFL Preparation
course is offered to full-time students at Intermediate level or higher as
an afternoon class.

TOEIC
This test is particularly designed to asses the student's ability to use English
in the workplace. Students from Pre-Intermediate level can prepare for the
TOEIC test in the TOEIC Preparation class. SCE is a recognised TOEIC
test centre and as such students are able to take the test on campus

CAMBRIDGE FCE, CAE and CPE
SCE specializes in preparing students for these tests, which are designed
to assess English language ability at Upper-Intermediate and Advanced
levels. Intensive full-time courses are offered, with a maximum class
size of 12. Entry to these courses is based on a special pre-course
test which assesses students' chances of success. We are proud of the
exceptionally high level of success our students have recorded in these
exams.

Preparation for the First Certificate
(FCE), Advanced (CAE) and Proficiency (CPE)
examinations with a focus on examination success. This is an internationally
recognized qualification indicating English language proficiency. |
