There is a wide range of exciting activities on offer for students in the afternoon and on weekends. Students are strongly encouraged to join as many activities as they can to improve their English and make the most of their time in Sydney, including students studying part-time and in the evening.
There are workshops with teachers available every afternoon, such as:
We partner with quality providers who take students on fun weekend trips all around New South Wales, including:
It’s not always easy to visit these destinations using public transport, so joining a scheduled trip is a great way to see more of Australia and enjoy the experienced tour guides.
SCE students can use their Student ID Card to receive student discounts (concession prices) for their weekend trips and when buying tickets for example at the cinema, the zoo, and at museums.
Visitors regularly come from partner institutions to talk to students about further study opportunity in Sydney, or from other organisations to talk to students about topics relevant to their time in Sydney. Students have regularly scheduled excursions with their class and get to choose where they would like to go. Popular destinations include the beach, playing laser tag, and visiting the aquarium or the zoo.
Sydney College of English has stopped all classes due to the impact of COVID-19. The school campus in Ultimo is now closed. For all SCE related matters, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org. Thank you to everyone who contributed to our school community.
