Preliminary English Test (PET) Examination Preparation Course 

Level: Pre-Intermediate / Intermediate

Skill Focus: Listening – Reading – Writing – Spreaking

The Preliminary English Test Examination Preparation course introduces Cambridge exam strategies and provides practice in the areas tested in the University of Cambridge PET Examination.  These include grammar and vocabulary as well as a focus on the skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking.

The course runs in 10-12 weeks blocks and students who wish to sit the PET Examination are advised to do the whole course. Each week there are timed practices of different exam components, with individual feedback after each one. Students sitting the exam also have the opportunity to do a full mock test in the week before their exam date.

Pre-Entry requirements: Minimum level of High Pre-Intermediate, determined by GE Placement Test or Term Progress Test

Course Start dates 2016: Jan 4, March 14, June 6, September 5

Special entry: With the approval of our Director of Studies, students may enter the course on any Monday, but are advised to complete 10-12 weeks of study.
