Withdrawal of a course
In the event that a course is withdrawn from the Sydney College of English course list, you may apply for the refund of the course fee, however, no other compensation or remedy shall be available.
On receipt of a registration and payment receipt, a letter of acknowledgement will be sent by email to the user.
The 48 hours following payment the user will be sent an email inviting them to enrol in the course. They will use this invitation email to access the Knoodle console????? and set up their own log in details.
Any notification to the user will be deemed effective if sent by email to the last known email address of the user.
Your Internet Connection
As recommended at the point of purchase, please ensure you complete the Computer and Internet Checklist before purchasing a course. The quality of your internet streaming is dependent on many factors. While we strive to provide you a high quality viewing experience, we make no guarantee as to the resolution or quality of the lessons you will receive when streaming.
Sydney College of English reserves the right to alter our discount / pricing structures listed on our website at any time. Naturally we will always do our best to give adequate notice. Once a course is commenced by a user we will not alter the pricing structure for the duration of their course.
Breach of the agreement
In the event the user breaches a term or condition of this agreement Sydney College of English has the right to cancel this agreement and the user’s license to use the course’s purchased.
If Sydney College of English believes the user is breaching or has breached the terms of this agreement, Sydney College of English reserves the right to cancel and remove user access. In such cases a refund will not be issued.
In the event that you breach a term or condition of this agreement, Sydney College of English reserves the right to commence proceedings to recover damages against you.
This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of NSW, Australia.
Changes to Terms and Conditions
These Terms may be varied from time to time at our sole discretion. Please ensure that you review these Terms regularly. Your continued use of the site will constitute acceptance of all variations to the terms and conditions.
